Where is the "default programs control panel" in W-7?

Perhaps there's an unfixable problem with Windows Mail so MS went with
WLM. You're playing with fire by using a program from MS that will never
be updated.
As long as it works it doesn't need to be. I haven't found anything I like
better.

Sure, but WLM is so bad who would use it? I'm sure most people, except
newbies, would go for something better. Thunderbird is what I'll use if
serious problems develop with WM.

For your information, I use WLM 2011 since the final edition has been
released
ans I'm very satisfied with it. I would not change for anything else even
if
it's not perfect.

Some years ago, I tried Forte Agent and I found it very difficult to use. I
flushed it after 3 days of trying to figure out how it was working.

I guess that illustrates the point that it's extremely difficult for
one program to please everyone. To me, Agent is one of the simplest
programs ever, but in the end the thing that matters is that you (and
everyone) found something that works the way you want it to work.

Your post didn't quote correctly because you use WLM 2011. That's what
everyone is complaining about.

Usenet providers can not sanction the person responsible for your alleged
"forgery" because you can't prove you're you.

The only way to get the alleged forger's account can be cancelled is if you use
a real email address in your postings (and the forger also uses it). Why?

Because you send the complaint FROM the real email address you post from. This
proves you own that email address and someone is impersonating you.

"(e-mail address removed)" can be used by anyone, and so can "Valorie *~", you
don't own a trademark to those.

Get yourself a throw-away email addy just for Usenet. It will fill with spam,
but that's okay... you're using it as a post-only account just in case someone
forges you. My email address is valid, but only checked maybe twice a year.
Are you the forger?
No, I have no interest in such shenanigans.

For anyone having any problem using any version of Forte Agent,
check out alt.usenet.offline-reader.forte-agent. It will answer
questions you didn't even know you had. ;)

It remains the most useful program on my machine ... since
1998.

Are you the forger?
Usually, I must keep my super-identity
a closely-guarded secret; but, since you're
asking on the usernets, *I* *am* 'The Forager'...

.... by night, keeping Metropolust and Gothams
safe so I can plunder and pillage all the
good-looking wimmins all the rest of the time.

It's a 'Win-Win; Thank You, Ma'am' situation!

HTH.

Repent! The end is near... Or, good luck if there's an apocalypse.

(Me? I don't go anywhere without a shotgun and package of beef jerky!)

(And some breath-freshening gum... just in case I run into any pretty
white ladies who wanna have some fun before I throw them out as bait
to the flesh-eating zombies so I can away very quickly.)

(And some condoms... because I wouldn't want to be the first guy who
survives the apocolypse on Murray Povich staring at DNA child support.)

Great, but look at how badly formatted your post was. Is that really
OK with you? Previous text wasn't quoted properly, previous sig
delimiter was ignored, your own sig delimiter is broken and misplaced,
and on and on. What a mess.

Actually, that is not true. Despite using an email address with the
'.invalid' TLD, I was able to prove a forgery, based on the Message-ID$ of a
forged post. There are other ways, than a functional (which is, I think,
what you really mean, not 'invalid') email address. Best way to deal with
forgeries, if you want to go to the trouble, is to use a PSP signature.
Works better than a functional email address.

Often, I don't even try to find the meat in such a sausage. It takes
long enough to read a NG without that (I'm in a hard-nosed mood, I
guess).

I'm on somewhat of a crusade to help people fix their broken clients,
but I'm sure I'll tire of it soon enough and just filter them out. :)

Yeah, a couple of minutes ago I just posted a long explication on the
same subject somewhere in this NG. I'm not consistent...

I'm the same way. The whole point of the newsreader is to make
communication easier. That means presenting it in a form that's easy
for other people to read and follow the conversation. If people are
going to intentionally present their words in an hard-to-read manner...
well, I have lots of better things to do than to disentangle their
mess.

Ditto. I usually drop out of attempting to help when the thread mixes
top-posting with normal posting.

I try to not have pet peeves, but accomplishing that would be so not me

Since you are using an invalid email address there is no forgery.
My email address was added an I got a reply from them. It sometimes takes
several complaints before an NSP acts on a troll.

There are plenty of security problems with IE and they haven't discontinued
it - ever think of that?
