Cliff - he needs to keep the router's power supply connected while doing the reset or it won't take. Pressing the reset button, usually really tiny may need the tip of a ballpoint pen to do it, after about 5 seconds or so the LEDs will flash a few times, then it's reset back to the factory defaults.Unplug your router and press the reset button. Hold the button pressed for over 10 seconds.
