Was it when Gates left Microsoft that Windows got good?

It was when my Stan spoke with the people of Rectuma. My Stan is a pretend
EE wannabee and gets lost all the time. He can't even set his clock right!

Is that a trick question? Bill Gates hasn't left Microsoft.
That's all right, there are still lots of folks who don't consider that
windows is much good yet!

R

ray

Who? You and alias?
Who cares. The world runs on Windows and Windows 7 is the very best OS
available today.
Live with it.
Did I say I was one of them? Geez, frankie you really do have a severe
reading comprehension problem, don't you? Or do you just enjoy trying to
put words into other people's mouths? I'm glad to know you consider win7
to be "the very best OS available today" - there are other folks in the
world who do not share your opinion.

R

ray

Then just who are you pretending to speak for huh?

Or do you just enjoy trying to

Again, if you are not speaking for yourself, who are you pretending to
speak for?

I'm glad to know you consider win7

Are you speaking for yourself? If not, who are you speaking for?
The you go again, frankie. I never said I was speaking 'for' anyone. If
you believe everyone in the world thinks that win7 is "the very best OS
available today" - you're nuts!

He meant very best 'Windows' OS.

No, I meant that as far as I am concerned, Windows 7 is the very best OS
available today.
Better watch this one, frankie baby - "best OS available today" for what?

R

ray

Everything and anything a consumer would want to do on a desktop/laptop
computer.
Ah - so you admit it's not the 'best' for serious work or servers. We're
making progress!

Frank

Have you seen the Win7 SP1 Beta and how many corrections in there alone ? Vista and
Win 7 is not a workable OS for Commercial and Pro use. Name an Institution or a
Company that uses either. More than 20 workstations not a small company with 3
computers (Mom and Pop )

ROFLMAO.

Frank

Heard about them? Read on. You really picked examples that I can answer to. :)

BMW (BMWG.DE) as one of my clients they are using W2K3 with SQL and XP on all other
work stations

T-Mobile (DT) No idea but if like the others then not Win 7 for sure

Del Monte Foods (DLM) Head office using Windows XP stations running under W2K8 R2.
How do I know? One of my other clients

Get your facts straight before sending signal from upstairs to finger

Whatever they provide the fact remains that I do work for those 2 companies that you
listed and they do NOT have even one Windows 7 at any one of their locations world
wide. MS is bad this way because they use articles like you read as They want to
sell more of their product like Windows 7. Frank you need to be around a bit more to
understand how MS works when trying to sell their products. This you can thank Steve
(Balmer) because this type of a method to advertise started when he was brought on
board by the 2 co-founders of MS

Sorry peter, but I beleive Microsoft first, you last. Also BMW
themselves said they were using Windows 7 and so did Del Monte...are
they too lying, like you said MS is?

So what type of work do you do for BMW and Del Monte that you have
physically been to all of their world-wide locations to be able to
personally verify that there is not one desktop running Windows 7 at any
location?
Well...your creditability wholly depends on how you factually answer
this question.
NO LYING ALLOWED!!!

Believe what you want Frank. The fact remains that BMW DE (Deutschland) does NOT use
Windows 7 as is Del Monte (USA and Mexico)

If you believe everything that Microsoft say's then I feel sorry for you. As one
that worked at the Campus and then worked freelance for them ,all I can tell you
that you are really gullible

Ahhhh...so you think putting words in my mouth will work, huh? Nice try
but no cigar.
Define "serious work" and sorry, but Microsoft owns the server market.
I'm sure you're right. But I had in mind more than 'serving' a printer to
the computer in the next room. I was given to understand that Apache on
*nix still 'serves' the internet.

why don’t you stick a bmw up your ass and get the hell out of here you freak

I believe if those companies are saying they are using Windows 7, and
they both have publicly said that they are, then I beleive them.
If you say or think they're lying...then prove it!

Sorry peter, I've caught you being wrong (Lying?) 3 times in the past.
If Microsoft and BMW both say that BMW is using Windows 7 then guess
what...I'll believe them over you any day of the year.
If you think that makes me "gullible', then that is your problem.
