Not too much I see potentially wrong.
I did notice that your video card driver is from 9/13/2008 which is considered old.
I checked HP for you and it seems that the only newer version is from 11/14/2008 but it is definitely worth an install here as it is said to "Fix/Enhancement: Improves compatibility with HP MediaSmart."

Your Intel wireless driver is from 6/10/2009 and this update will bring it to 10/22/2009:

Your Realtek lan driver is from 6/10/2009 and will be brought to 6/22/2010 by installing the auto-install program from this link:

------
If updating all of these drivers do not stop the freezes, then I would go to the start menu, all programs, startup and delete BgMonitor.
Then type services.msc in the start menu, hit enter and then disable Nero BackItUp Scheduler 3.
Reboot and test.
------
If it still freezes during use, then I would use CPU-Z to find out which mainboard the laptop has. Then Google for a possible updated bios for it from the manufacturer's website and install.
Good luck! and let us know how it goes.
