It seems that 'Starter' is the most basic of Windows 7 editions, and onlyI'm about to buy an el-cheapo laptop just for
Internet downloads, thereafter to transfer all
suitable and screened material to my main
computer.

It comes with "Windows7 Starter" and I assume this
will be compatible with my Windows7 Ultimate 64bit
machine? It's going to cost $370 so I want to
get it right.
