Well, "he" thought he was talking about Microsoft games as well.
That's what these forums are for - to help people with information -
that is after, of course, the "regulars" provide a good spanking. Why
on earth would anyone be asking questions in a help forum if they
didn't need help!!

Good point! I agree. :)

Not sure how much clearer I could be than "how do you uninstall
games" - but whatever!))
You could have been specific about what games you meant. There are the
games Microsoft includes with Windows, there are those that your
computer vendor bundled with the the system, and there are ones you
installed later. They are all uninstalled differently.

It's good to provide as much information as possible up front so people
don't have to beg for details.
Poor Microsoft -- didn't deserve my blame this time, you're right!
However hard to know that initially since the Start Menu simply
has a Microsoft Explorer folder that just says "Games" - no
mention of any "WildTangent" until looking in the Programs
folders.
Are you sure? All the Wild Tangent games I've found bundled in with
computers start up with a big, ugly "control panel" where they urge you
to buy more games and "tokens". You can uninstall individual games
from there, but the advertising continues until you uninstall the whole
thing from Control Panel.

Bright Spark wasn't originally aware of the fact that there were more
games than those from Windows involved, but in this thread he learned
about the distinction :)

Which seems to me to be a good use of the newsgroup, even though a few
people got on his case at first...
