Sudden BSOD and other random restarts

I have attached a .NET verification tool. Please run it on .NET 3.5 SP1.



Then please upload the log file:
%temp%\setupverifier_main_*.txt
%temp%\setupverifier_errors_*.txt

To get to %temp%
Start -> run -> type in %temp%, press enter.

Attached is the .NET Cleanup tool. Please Select .NET 3.5 SP1. It should remove it.
Reboot.
Then try to install Windows SP1.

Try to remove .NET 4.0 with the removal tool.

Did you run these? If you did, how did it go?

Run » sfc /scannow

Run » chkdsk c: /F

It says that .NET framework 4 has been cleaned up. and I don't remember anything out of the ordinary with the two scans. They just finished, and nothing happened.

Did you try those scans in Post#52 already?

Anyway reboot and give the SP1 a go.

OK, last couple of things, before a more involved measure.

Try installing

.NET 2.0 SP1

.NET 2.0 SP2 (NetFx20SP2_x64.exe)
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=1639

.NET 3.0
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=70849

Then .NET 3.5 SP1 again

If that works try windows SP1 again.

You will need your serial number for that.

So far the .NET 2.0 SP1 are telling me to do the same "Windows Feature on/off" thing in the control panel that we were having trouble with earlier.

But only for .NET 4.0

I don't know if you have already done the in place upgrade.
