When i figure out which stick is broken, i can get a replacement.
Yeah, i will. And i'll get a replacement form the company that made the computer. My warranty is on parts, too.Yes, and make sure it matches the other stick, but until then try your system on just 4 and see if it runs w/o BSODs.
My mistake, i should've put up the info when i read it. its TED34096M1333HC9 made by TeamShow us what you have.
Alright. So, i'd set it to default, then put in the new RAM, right? That makes the most sense to me.Just set it in BIOS. I wouldn't remove the battery.
Alrighty man, i'll do it here in a few minutes. Felling kind of ill at the moment. xDNo.
Turn it off, unplug it, open it, ground yourself (touch a metal lamp to discharge any static electricity), take the memory out of the static-free bag, insert the new memory.
Close it back up and boot, immediately go into BIOS.
alright, i'll do itIt wouldn't be a bad idea to run it.
