The HP printer drivers for Win7 on their newer printers are 64-bit.
Of course it all depends if the company wants to sell their products or
watch their company slowly fail from lack of customers.

that's a selling point right there.

Not sure what you are driving at. OS X, as I recall can execute either
32-bit or 64-bit programs. Doubt that this will be a problem for them.
But it seems that it is a problem for Microsoft... but if a printer
company can't get its act together, that is their problem and also a red
flag for someone who owns one of their printers on relying on them for
printer drivers in the future.
