no sound with realtek high def driver

My device manager shows I am using Ver 6.0.1.5988. My computer is using Windows 7 64Bit, so the designator may be different for 32Bit. (It is also an old computer!)
But, on installation, I could not get any sound. I finally installed my drivers from this page:

Later. Just remembered. I should add that, after installing, as above, I had a realtek Audio Manager in my Control Panel. See Pic.

on mine it dont show any speakers and iv got 5.1 surouns sound and headphones

luke1991 - it looks like your system is several years old, from what I could tell by my research. It must be an Acer Aspire computer.

I may be wrong here, have you double-checked on which jacks you have your speakers plugged into? I know there's green, black (and the other I can't remember) but I think it's orange. The highlighted jacks don't look right to me. I know the colors vary from one make to another. I quit using 5.1 over two years ago because I don't really notice that much difference really, plus my Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers do a very good job.
