Thanks everyone. I now know that my OS (Win.7) is stored on the set (3) of
System Recovery Discs which I have made and which I know how to use, should
the need arise. I realize that Backup of anything which was not on the
computer when it left the factory is of vital importance and I do that
regularly onto an external HD. In addition I may ask HP for a Win.7 disc
and Product Key, but I may have to pay a nominal fee for that.
