When one of the other respondents asked you "whether it was a library
view", you answered "Nope".

Yet, in that picture, I see "Libraries \ Documents \ Camtasia Studio".
Doesn't that meant the item is staged in a library ?

Libraries are built with .xml files, and are an overlay. They're
not part of the file system as such. Some software in the OS,
makes certain things look like they're grouped together. It's a way
of gathering things together that can be stored on multiple (even remote)
file systems.

So the first question would be, does the "real file folder" that
was added to that library, does it exist ? Or not ? Maybe
the phantom appears because it is recorded in the .xml file
for that library.

"For example, the Documents Library is represented by an XML file called
Documents.library-ms. Library descriptions are saved on disk in the
%appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Libraries folder (also known as FOLDERID_Libraries)."

Since it's a folder, and located in a library, perhaps you could
use this thing to remove it ??? You're not supposed to edit the .library-ms
file itself, so a dialog like this is a possible way to do it.
The .library-ms is a text document using xml format, which
you can read to see what folders are included to be gathered.

Since, as Paul has just pointed out, the folder is actually a Library
entry, try this:

In the Navigation Pane (the left pane of your Explorer window), expand
Documents (double click Documents, or click on the little triangle next
to Documents, to do this).

Right click on what you think of as the folder (Untilednorwich
falkland).

In the (maybe rather long) menu that appears, find the menu item
"Remove location from library" and click on it. It will disappear
before you can say "My name is Rumpelstiltskin".

Even so, I'm surprised Unlocker didn't remove it.

That was me, and now that I've seen the picture, I'm just smiling and
shaking my head. It really steers people to the wrong solutions when
the facts are misrepresented. :)

Thanks to everyone who picked up on that and steered the OP in the
right direction. I have a feeling this escapade will result in another
person who isn't fond of Libraries.

I h8 2 c shorthand like that! It does nothing but confuse the reader.
Sadly, it had become the norm in UK text messages. Even a few adult
friends have taken it up. If I can't read it, I can always ask one of
the neighbour's children, I suppose.

command prompt in that folder, then: dir /x

and delete using 8.3 filename shown in the right-hand
column ?

del xxxxxxxx.xxx

just tried it m8 :)
no luck its still there ,,

something is telling win7 that it is there when it isnt,
its also in the comand window as "UNTITL~3"

Hmmmm...didn't see that you said it was a folder.

IIRC, you'd need to use the: rd or rmdir command if this directory is empty, or the:
deltree command if it has files in it.

rd untitle~3 ?

It's actually part of a Library, so it needs to be removed from the
Library as a first step.
