How to uninstall IE10

Weird. I have that update on my Win 7 x64 and it's running fine. Must
be related to the hardware you're running.
I guess on most pc's it will work fine. Why it didn't on mine, I don't
know. Perhaps you're right, it might be a matter of hardware. IMHO it's
not unlikely to be a software issue either. I have configured FF
differently than most users. For instance I have disabled all caching.

I thought it 'might' work and was worth trying since it was so quick and
easy to try.
Hopefully you will find the real solution.
Perhaps it wasn't IE 10 after all, but another program or update that is
causing the problem.
Do not let MS Update ever install any hardware drivers (esp audio or video
card) updates, unless you are sure they are the right ones and you actually
need them. They can mess up many things on you computer.
You probably already know that, but I mentioned it just in case you didn't.
Buffalo :)
Thanks for the warning!
I never check the contents of the updates, but I assume there will never
be any hardware drivers involved. But perhaps I'm wrong.

On mine too.

You guys made me look. It's also under Programs and Features on mine as
well as where I said, but it was not easy to find among the 6,543
updates listed.

I'm exaggerating the number, but only a little :)

Once nice thing about Windows 7 compared to XP is that you can use the
Search box at the top of the Programs and Features window to find
things in the list.

Gee. That makes it trivially easy.

I didn't even look for a search or try to search, since when I get to
the similar list in Windows Update, I can't find a way to search. I was
reasoning by (a wrong) analogy again...

Thanks for the wake-up :)

If you run into problems with IE 10, it's easy to uninstall it and roll back
to IE 9. Click Control Panel/Programs and Features, then click View
installed updates. Scroll down to the Windows section and click Windows
Internet Explorer 10 to remove it.
