I usually ask people that may know something. I got an excellent answer
from relic, whom I've also asked the same question.
I know, but it's a bad idea and a bad habit to get into. Asking a
question inside someone else's thread, just because you see someone
participating who has been helpful in the past, means that everyone
else who may have skipped the thread because they weren't interested
in the topic will also miss your hidden question. You don't get the
benefit of more eyes seeing and possibly answering, and the rest who
skipped the thread don't get the benefit of learning from your
question.

Not a big deal and I hope I'm not blowing it out of proportion. I just
wanted to give an explanation as to why I think it's not a good
approach. Carry on.

My approach works. I've tried posting new threads before and no luck.
So I do it my way.
