Audio not working! Help!

Ok, installed almost everyone of the drivers Device Manager told me to install. About half of them didn't work, though. They were either made for Vista x32, or were for things my computer doesn't actually have. There was one for "Bluetooth", for example.

Anyways, sound still doesn't work.

PD: I tried to check out Ubuntu (11.10) on a live cd. I didn't have sound there either, speakers didn't even show up in the Sound Manager.

I'm afraid it is sounding more and more like there was some sort of hardware failure because your computer just doesn't seem to see the device.

Your choice is get it repaired or get a USB sound "card" but the problem with that is you then need external speakers and probably a microphone too.
