review the specification or its interpretations. I didn't read further
than to see it was about radio and communications gear. Could apply to
a data/fax or broadband modem, wifi, or EMF from the computer. The OP
said it was "baloney". You don't waste time mentioning something you
don't care about. It was unimportant to him but not in how be
presented it in his post.
Remember that the OP never did ask for *help*. He asked for comments
on his rant. Thankfully for him, the respondents didn't take him up on
his request to flame with or against him. He really just wanted to
vent to feel better. Misery loves company.
From another subthread here, it looks like the "modem" he complained as
missing wasn't an analog data/fax modem despite him mentioning faxing
(which was a tangent topic unrelated to his true gripe). He misled
with an untyped modem while mentioning faxing which had respondents
focus on analog data/fax modems. DSL/cable modems don't do faxing.
Maybe he thought the sale of the desktop should include a DSL or cable
modem to give him broadband Internet access. He certainly paid more
than just the cost of the system unit with keyboard and mouse but we
wouldn't know for what bundle was the extra cost of 130 euros. Maybe
it was for a monitor, maybe it included a broadband modem. He'll have
to contact whomever sold him the package as to why components he
thought were included in the bundle were missing.
Ranting here about an unidentified package bought from an unidentified
seller isn't going to resolve his problem of missing items. Him
expecting more in the sale doesn't equate to a fault with the seller.
