Yes, we KNOW that the latest Flash player will support 64-bit Windows.
But it will NOT support a 64-bit BROWSER running in Windows. :>(
Read Adobe's TechNote once again, and read it VERY carefully this time. The
key line says, "We expect to provide native support for 64-bit platforms in
an upcoming release of Flash Player following the release of Flash Player
10.1." Note that 10.1 comes sometime after 10.0.45.2.
And if you follow the link on that page to Adobe TechNote 83715, you will
find this line: "To use Flash Player to view Flash content on a 64-bit
operating system, you need a 32-bit browser."
So, unless you know something that Adobe isn't telling us, Adobe Flash
Player WILL work in 64-bit Win7, bit it still will not work in 64-bit IE8.
