Add Comments to a File's Comments Column in Explorer

I want to be able to add descriptive comments to file listings in Windows Explorer. So far, I've discovered how to add a Comments column, but have not discovered the means to actually enter descriptive comments into that column. There must be a simple way to add descriptions if such a column can be created. Surely someone must know how to do this! If it is YOU, please do share with me how to do this. Such a helpful thing to have the ability to write descriptions of files.

In Windows Explorer, right-click on the object & choose properties. Go to the Details Tab & click in the comments field. If it is item such as a picture or music then you can type in that comments field.
