You need to format drive "M" before you can use it

I get the message listed above when I reboot my computer. I don't have a drive "M" on my computer. I have two internal 1tb drives partitioned as drives C, D, E, F; an external USB 1tb drive partitioned as drive G and an external USB drive partitioned as drive K..

I also have two internal DVD drives labeled as drives H and J, and one external USB DVD drive labeled as drive I.

I am afraid to click on the format tab on the error message for fear that it will format one of my existing drives and I will lose all the data on that drive.

Any suggestions on where this error message comes from and how to remove it?

Thanks,
Ed

Could you run Diskmgmt.msc and screenshot the results, then post the image?

Or you could choose Show Hidden in explorer and see what files are in there.
