wmiprvse using CPU

just noticed my computer is running its CPU's at 20-40%, due to the above, heating up my CPU. I have windows 7 pro, and have not maybe any recent changes that I can recall.

what to do?

Some malware(viruses/adware/spyware) try to disguise themselves as wmiprvse so you should first do a safemode scan as described HERE (I know you don't have a BSOD but the virus scan is the same)
