Two weeks ago I let this computer install a Windows Live Essentials update
that came in on automatic updates. Since then, WLM has crashed three times
when pressing Send to groups or email. Most times pressing Send causes no
problems. Looks like it has something to do with the Spell Checker. I am
running Word 2000 (9.0.2720) which I think is still the original install
from the original Office 2000 CD's, not updated. I'm not having any problems
with any of the programs in Office.
The WLE update is listed in Control Panel in the programs list
(un-installable). Anybody know what's going on? Would it be safe to
un-install the update?
