A friend of mine (really) has a netbook, he loaned it out to someone who more or less trashed it. It can be salvaged, but I have to get passed the password he set. Both my desktop and the netbook are running Windows 7. The netbook does not have a CD/DVD drive, or floppy, but does have USB. I need to restore the netbook to factory, or at least be able to get in and clean it up for my friend. He will be traveling soon and would like to take the netbook with him.
I tried using the Restore Password Disc, but no luck there. Any suggestions folks would be greatly appreciated. No matter what happens, anything is better than looking at a computer you cannot use.

Used a program from Microsoft to create a USB Startup/Install Drive and overwrote the drive completely.
