Windows Live Messenger 2009

Hey All,

I ain't liking the new Windows Live, and instantly downgraded back to
2009 back when they made me install it last year. The whole experiance
just seems to be broken, and bloated with social stuff (looking at you
Facebook) - however, they are now forcing the update, whenever I try
to sign in it gives me a dialog telling me to update, and if I click
no it won't let me sign in. What can I do?
