Windows 7 with 1GB RAM

I HAVE WIN 7 WITH 1 GB RAM.....
I installed yesterday only. When i open task manager performance tab, it shows cached 320 MB,
Available 360 MB n free 30 MB which comes nearly equal to to 700 MB.
Where does the rest of memory go n how to get it back?
Plz help...!!!

1GB is the bare minimum for W7. Hopefully you are only running 32-bit because 64-bit needs 2GB. Part of your RAM may be used for video and W7 will attempt to use all the rest but it should manage it so your applications get what they need.
