I have an HP that I got with Windows 7 and had delayed updating the last software update so many times that it automatically started updating, since then I've had my computer run temporarily until it would no longer go through with Startup.
I have since run Startup Repair multiple times to have it come back with no errors and whenever I try a System Restore it only gives me one date to restore my computer to and every time it gives me the System Restore error 0x8000ffff.
At this point the only thing I don't have backed up that is on my hard drive that I want to salvage is my pictures, is there any hope or do I just need to return my computer to factory settings and take the loss.
