I'm finding occasionally that when I try to go login to my PC running
Win7 Ultimate 64-bit, after it's been idle for a few hours that it locks
up as I try to login. It doesn't just lock up, a strange static-like
pattern appears on the screen before it locks up. Kind of like what you
used to see on old-time pre-digital TVs, when the tuning needed
fine-tuning. I tried upgrading my Nvidia drivers yesterday, but it
didn't seem to help here at all. Don't know what to look for here, as
there are no entries in the System logs pointing to a problem prior to
it locking up. The only way to get out of it is to hit the reset button.
