Hi,

When I try to log in to my windows PC at the Alt+Ctrl+Del screen initially, it does take my username and password but returns to the same screen after a while. When I try logging in the second time, it runs smoothly and logs in to my desktop page. Can anyone help me to avoid this? I do not wish to log in twice every time i want to work.

You can get rid of it entirely.
Type Control userpasswords2 in the start box (or RUN).
Click the advanced tab.
Untick the square at the bottom.

Thanks for the reply. But, I do not want to get rid of it. The computer is on the network. So, I just do not want to login twice every time. Is there a solution for this?

The computer is on a domain and I cannot disable this option. I really need to enter my credentials when I log in.

Make sure you are on the domain when you log on and not on the local machine.
You initally log into the Domain name when you are at work make sure that is what you are using.
