I have Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit in my Acer 4720Z laptop. The laptop was purchased in 2008 (2GB RAM) and is running fine. But for the last few weeks, during browsing, it suddenly crashes and shows blue screen (BSOD) showing some tcpip.sys message.
The BSOD shows:
"A problem has been detected and windows has been shutdown to prevent damage to your computer.
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, then restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.
If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup options, and then select Safe Mode.

After a few seconds the blue screen goes off and a black screen comes asking me to select Windows Normal or Windows Safe mode. i select Windows Normal mode and then again my previous session is restored. I have a registered Quickheal Antivirus installed in my system so I guess this isn't a viral/malware attack. This happens with Firefox, Google Chrome, IE i.e. every browser. Anyone having any idea to troubleshoot the problem?
