Fyi...earlier versions than 2012 allowed separate installation and removal of Live Photo Gallery and Live Movie Maker....2012 the
two programs are packaged as one product for install and removal. There are a few work-arounds that have surfaced to prevent that
or even mix-match earlier MM versions with the 2012 suite or products.

bundling. Go run the Windows Live item in Add/Remove Programs and
deselect what programs in the bundle that you don't want.

You'd want to tick "Photo Gallery and Movie Maker".
But as a curious person, before I did that, I'd want to
scroll through the program folder and verify I actually had
a Windows Live Essentials setup. And perhaps that the
installer for it was handy, if I felt the need to
put that version back. Check the version info and
note it in your personal log file for later. You can
still find older versions for download, somewhere.
