No, you need a 32 bit disc for a 32 bit install or repair.I have a friend but he's using a windows7 64-bit disc, will that work

I am sure he lost his product key too !!We do know stuff and you are not listening.You can download and burn your own copy of Windows 7 Install Media if you have a legal key. There is also Windows Repair Disk for download as an option for system repair.
- You can not use a Vista repair on a Windows 7 machine and expect things to go right.
- I told you in the beginning that you was asking for a bigger headache by copying system folders from one machine to the next.
- You should have a Windows Install Disk or Recovery Media if you have Windows 7 legally.
