SOLVED win7 pro reinstall

Need to reinstall win7 pro to clear some problems, but would like to keep installed programs and other data. My version of win7 came from an install disk with SP-1 included.

Does presence of SP-1 prevent a upgrade/reinstall?

It should not be a problem. To keep the installed programs you would just be installing overtop the existing installation.
