Win7 folder locations

I have several folders on my desktop that I want to always open in
particular locations. In older versions of Windows, I just needed to move
the windows to the right position and then close them. The next time I
opened the folder, the window was in the right place.

With Win7, they seem to open wherever the last window was closed,
regardless of where the specific window was when previously closed. Is
there a way to set the folders to always remember where they were last
closed and to re-open in that same place?
