I get up dates and usually install them, lately I keep getting an update for things I dont have now want.
Important update: Update for Outlook 2003 Junk E-mail Filter (KB2825947)

Optional Update: Bing Bar & Bing Desktop.

I don't use Outlook nor do I want Bing. Is there any way to stop notices for updates you have declined over & over again.

That particular update won't return but I have seen probably 3 different updates trying to slip in those bing bars and silverlight. Microsoft really likes to push out that junk.

You might consider unchecking the box to "treat recommended updates the same as critical updates". That way drivers and Bing bars and the like NEVER install automatically, you have to manually run Windows Updates and select them if you want them.
