SOLVED Win 7 XP Mode power management settings

Which operating system has control over power management in XP mode, Win 7 or XP? Can the power setting be turned off in XP mode so that Win 7 is in control of the computer and XP mode remains running in the background, even after Win 7 is brought out of hibernation?

Windows XP Mode is little more than a program, no different from your browser or Office. It reacts in the same ways as any other desktop application to the Windows 7 power plans.
