Hi guys
I have a Lenovo thinkpad laptop, with windows 7 professional 64 bit.
Recently my laptop just started hanging in startup. After switched my computer in safe mode, I had a look in the event viewer.

I found this error occurring multiple time within 5 seconds :-

That means a dependent service failed to start. Why? I don't know. Try:

1. System restore
2. Command prompt > sfc /scannow

That you can boot in safe mode is very good, which is almost a proof your hardware is Ok. :)

I'd run a scan for malware...a thorough one.

Following on from Cores Malware suggestion....

Download TDSSKiller and run it in Safe Mode.

Same problem

Same problem, tried the TDSSKiller.exe program and it scanned 261 files with no problems.

Now what? This is annoying? My PC was working great one day and suddenly it won't start! Safe Mode works fine - maybe I'll just stay in it!

- Thanks!
