Hi

Whenever I try to print photos using Photo Gallery nothing happens when I click print.

I have an HP Photosmart Plus B209a-m printer connected to my PC and I can print other documents OK (e.g from Word)

Are there printing issues between Windows 7 and Photo Gallery?

I am also unable to change printer properties via Options in Photo Gallery

Any help would be appreciated

Essentially it suggests
1. open a cmd prompt and type:
reg query "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows" /v Device
2. change your default printer in control panel\printers
3. repeat step 1 and it should show this new printer
4. Then change your default printer back
5. repeat step 1 and it should now correctly say your printer
6. print from photo gallery

Workaround didn't work

Thanks for trying, but for anyone else having this problem, the above did not work. Oddly enough, mine worked fine until I installed a new printer.

Doubt it's the issue but, you might check for corrupt windows files with the System File Checker Tool (sfc)

You might also try creating a new userid and see if you can print from that ID, if so it is almost surely a glitch in your current userid's registry settings.

When you say the printer is connected to your PC do you mean directly via USB? via network? or wireless?
