Webcam Resolution Increase

Since my upgrade to windows 7 I have noticed a tremendous improvement in my webcam resolution and speed. I don't have the split second delay as I did before the upgrade. Is this my imagination or is this a 7 thing. I have not had any software or hardware updates of my webcam. Not that I complaining but man what an improvement. Has anybody else noticed this?

Welcome to the forums, bassfisher6522! I believe that you're right. My sister has an external webcam on her Vista system, and mine's in a little tiny hole in the casing over the top of my screen. Mine takes better looking pictures, but hers is more portable. I need to try hers out on mine, then I'll see if there's any difference. But everything else works better on Windows 7 than Vista, so I don't see your webcam as an exception.
