Hi! My desktop has two hard drives. I installed Windows 7 64-bit on HDD A. When I unmounted HDD B a few days later, the system couldn't boot and displayed the message: "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key." When I remount HDD B, it boots to Windows again. How can I unmount HDD B and still boot into Windows? HDD B does not have any system files.

It sounds like maybe the boot sector was written to HDD B. Remove HDD B, then put in your Win 7 Installation DVD (or thumb drive) again and boot to it. From the installation screen run "repair your computer".
