At Last!!
The brilliant little ute. Unlocker has been fixed for 64 bit systems. I was lost without it!!

Ever had such an annoying message given by Windows?

  • It has many other flavours:

Cannot delete file: Access is denied
There has been a sharing violation.
The source or destination file may be in use.
The file is in use by another program or user.
Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use.

Unlocker is the solution!

  • 1. Simply right click the folder or file and select Unlocker

  • 2. If the folder or file is locked, a window listing of lockers will appear

  • 3. Simply click Unlock All and you are done!

I've used this app on my notebook for some time, whenever I run into a wall, the first app that I grab is Unlocker, regardless of what I need it for. It allows you to go into another partition to unlock a file without the hassle of taking ownership of the file. You're usually automatically the owner with this handy app.

However, MSE reports that some of the program is malware, and places it in the chest.

Yeah, I've had it running in "test mode" for about 6 weeks now - guess I can go w/ signed drivers! Hope I can figure out how to turn test mode off.
