Can't remember what the software to test it is... so I'll leave it to an other member. Edit: Just remebered. It's chkdsk.exe or something. All major manufacturers of hard drives offer free diagnostic tools for their drives. Just visit their websites. If you don't know your drive make, you can download and install SIW (System Information for Windows) and it will tell you more than you want to know. Here's the link! http://www.gtopala.com/
