Taskbar Thumbnail Previews

Has anybody found a way to eliminate the thumbnail previews on
the taskbar?

The only workaround I have found is to increase the value of
MouseHoverTime in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Mouse to some
large number. Setting it to 10000 delays the appearance of those
thumbnails for 10 seconds, but it affects other things, like jump
lists.

R-Clik on Taskbar & select Properties. Click on "TaskBar" tab. Untick
the 'Use Aero to preview the desktop'.

That only turns off the desktop preview. I want to turn off the
taskbar thumbnail previews.

Unfortunately, there is no Group Policy Editor in Windows 7 Home
Premium edition.
I've now read the link and it seems that it's been removed in Windows 7. I've tried it
on my box and it says 'Vista only' by the setting. Sorry about that.
As it is available in Vista there might be a registry hack that would work on Win7.
If I find anything I'll post back.
