SOLVED syncing mirrored discs?

Under Win 7 SP1 Ultimate I'm putting back together a formerly mirrored set of two 4TB discs, It's been grinding for over 24 hours, it just says syncronising. About how long does it take? I've 3.7 TB of data on one of the discs.
