Sorting "all programs"

Hi Guys....
Seem to have gone wrong somewhere.
The list in Start/all programs was getting quite long so thought I would
organize eg. all downloaded games folders to be put in the "Games"
folder What I expected was one folder what says games and inside lots of
folders of different games which each contained the program /uninstall
etc. What I have after doing what I did was all the program buttons are
in the games folder but the folders are still there in the all programs
list which now contain just the same except the actual program button.
What I did...
Right clicked "all programs" "open all users" clicked programs
where the list was and dragged and dropped the folders into the games
folder.
I'm sure I could have explained this differently... apologies

Thanks for any info.

I can't duplicate this here with just one user apart from "all users".
How many users do you have assigned?

Yes, I see what you wanted to do, approve of it and I'd recommend it to
others.
It worked here.
So, what made it fail there?
