Some folders open in different locations

Hi all,

Using W7 pro 64 b. Under "Folder options" I have the default setting
"Open each folder in the same window". However, when I open some
folders, their windows appear on a different place on my screen. This
started months ago, and it seems it's getting worse. More folders I
open, suddenly appear on a different place. This very annoying as you
are forced to change your vision from left to right on your screen and
sometimes vice versa.
I already tried "Open each folder in its own window". The position of
the new folder is the same as it was, but the old folder now stays open.
Changing this setting back did not solve it.

Anyone has an idea as how to solve this?

Thanks beforehand!

I had a different view on this, sorry for the pun, I prefer my windows
to open in differing sizes and places.

I couldn't make Windows 7, 64 bit do this, I found a program called
ShellFolderFix to allow me to set them to open as I want, perhaps this
has settings which would suite you.

Thanks, Mike. This application does the trick for me!
Everything is opened in the same window now. And views may differ :)
