SOLVED software not compatible

Hi all
Just upgraded to new machine with win7x64 from win7x32 and now accounting program doesn't work properly.
Any suggestions?

If it is a very old program it could be 16 bit, in which case it will not run on 64bit, the only thing you can do is run a 32bit virtual machine, such as Virtual PC-XP mode and then run the program in that Virtual environment.

If the program does run, but not quite right, then try right-clicking on the program icon and choose property settings. In there try "run as an Administrator" or try run in compatibility mode for Win XP, or whatever it is made for
