Slow to connect

What takes so long to connect to the internet after booting? Other
operating systems connect right off. How can I speed this up on Windows
7? I have to sit there and wait for the yellow triangle to go away
before I start something or they won't connect. Ridiculous.

No problem here, everything is connected immediately.
If anything, it's faster than on my XP machine.

He He. I have an Asus MB which can go online without booting windows. Handy
for Skype and such but It also means that by the time windows has booted I
can collect mail
