Hello, I am running a windows 7 home premium 64-bit on my Dell XPS 15 with 6gb ram and an i5 processor.
I have found the startup to be extremely slow. But once it has started up, the programs and the processes get fast.
I have tried getting to msconfig and have disabled many of my startup programs.
The current programs which are enabled are:
5 Intel programs
- 3 common user interface
- PROset/Wieless
- PROset\Wireless bluetooth
Logitech Setpoint
Realtek HD Audio Manager
utorrent
Two finger scroll
Starter module
Mcafee security center
HP UT
FATrayMon

Which of the above programs do you think is causing my slow startup? For a 6gb ram and i5 processor, I honestly didn't expect this slow a startup even with all the programs running. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in Advance!

McAfee would be my guess.

Are you booting from the SSD drive?

No, I dont boot from an SSD drive. Are you suggesting I uninstall Mcafee completely?
