I don't buy it, but if you do happen to have something that opens
minimized, just right click the shortcut, select Properties and change
Minimized to either Maximized or Normal Window, whichever you prefer.

Because you have it in Goofy mode. Put it in Mickey mode and see what
happens.

OK I'll just say how do I get all my programs to open full sized when I
click on an icon?

Three options.

1: Grab the corners of the window and drag it to full screen size. Do not
use Maximize. Close all other windows first via the Taskbar and this one
last. Windows will remember the size used of the last window closed the
next time you open the program.

2: Whichever shortcut you are using to launch the window, right click it
and select properties. Under the 'Run' drop-down, choose "Maximized".

3: (For Internety Explorer only). IE New Window Maximizer

Now, if the program is opening to the Taskbar, that's a different issue,
so post back.
