Saving pics/vids in folders

I have a question concerning saving my pics/vids to folder, using Picasa 3. After saving, i open them up, and as you can see by pics, they differ, why i don't know. I'd like them to open like pic 2, rather than pic 1. Any reasons why this happens, or suggestions on how to rectify this oddity?

right-click in the whitespace and choose ... View>Large Icons
