safe mode ok but not full

i went to sleep last night computer was fine and when i woke up this morning i turn it on it turns on show black screen and then show my background picture that it makes the background noise that im in but no icons or anything i hit control alt del i get black screen but when i go in safe mood it fine any ideas

Probably a driver (video perhaps) Since yiu can boot into safe mode, I would boot there (with networking) and download the newest version of your video driver and re-install it using these instructions

When upgrading your graphic driver you MUST remove all traces of the current driver. In order to do that we recommend using
